On Friday’s Tennessee Star Report with Steve Gill and Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 am to 8:00 am – Leahy chatted with Howie Carr, legendary king of Boston broadcast radio and author of Kennedy Babylon Volume II, to speak on Elizabeth Warren’s past, DNA tests, and subsequential ‘ethnic fraud’ by simply “checking the box”.
Leahy: Welcome Howie.
Carr: Hey thank you Mike, thanks for having me on.
Leahy: It’s always great to have you on. So, Howie, first, congratulations, twenty-five years on the air in Boston, fantastic!
Carr: I know I’ve dodged a lot of bullets over the years.
Leahy: Literally.
Carr: And I’m still dodging, yeah.
Leahy: Literally dodged a bullet for those of you that listened to us last time Howie was on. The Boston Mafia Hood, Whitey Bulger put a contract out on Howie years ago. And now let’s say Whitey Bulger was murdered in prison…
Carr: Thats right. He sleeps with the fishes.
Leahy:  He sleeps with the fishes. So Howie and I first became really good friends when we started identifying the problems associated with Senator Elizabeth Warren, also known and “Pocahontas” and other various names when she was running for the United States Senate in 2012 and was claiming to be Cherokee-Native American. Well, Howie and I discovered something that was quite interesting about her. She’s not Native American…at all. And Howie, tell us a little bit about the story of what you uncovered there with the Pow Wow Chow Cookbook.
Carr: Well, yeah she was going no where basically in her career as a academic at various law schools until she decided in the mid eighties to start checking the box. She started claiming to be a Native-American and all of a sudden her career took off like a rocket ship. And suddenly she’s not an instructor at the University of Texas Law School she’s a tenured professor first at the University of Pennsylvania and then at Harvard University which of course are two Ivy League law schools.  These schools hire almost exclusively people who went to Ivy League law schools. And she didn’t. And you know there’s only one reason they hired her because she was a Native American. And she tried to burnish her fraudulent credentials by contributing, well first of all by checking the box. And the funniest thing she did was she contributed to this Indian recipe book in her native state of Oklahoma. It was called Pow Wow Chow. And that was pretty preposterous that she claimed that these recipes, we looked at these recipes and said cold clam omelet is a Native Cherokee recipe? And so then I guess I, punched in or one of my people punched in to Google just the first few words of the recipe and it came back as a New York Times recipe…
Leahy: (Laughs) She plagiarized the recipe.
Carr: Right by the gourmet cook Pierre Frame, I don’t know how you pronounce his name. But he was like one of the most famous French chefs in America. And this dish, cold clam omelet. This was the favorite dish at his midtown restaurant in New York of Noal Coward and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
Leahy: (Laughs)
Carr: Well known sackums of the Cherokee (Inaudible chatter)
Leahy went on to discuss Warren’s lack of substantial evidence of her claim of being a Native American (other than the fact that her mother said she had high cheekbones) and no documentary or genetic evidence. Carr chuckled that the evidence Leahy found actually went in the other direction where ancestors actually shot an Indian and another was accused driving a Cherokee on the Trail of Tears.  Carr stressed how ridiculous this was and compared her claim to that of a person who’s ancestors were a Nazi guard and then now claiming to be a Jew.
Leahy: So, she claims to be Native American.  No documentary evidence. No genetic evidence. She claims in 1985, checks the box, she’s an instructor at the University of Texas laws school. Magically in 1987 she’s appointed the University of Pennsylvania Law School, really goes into the files there, and not only is she in the directory, she checks a box for the legal form in the University of Pennsylvania,  says yes I am Native American. Harvard Law School looks at this, they need “diversity” they hire her.
Carr: Right, and you know the thing is she issued this report a couple months ago claiming she had this DNA evidence that backed her up. Well, you know number one, as the Cherokee nation always to eager to point out this was a preposterous task, that’s not how you judge people of whether they are Native American or not. But also, the easiest way to find out if she commited this “ethinic fraud” would be for her to release her employment applications to both the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Law School. And she refuses to do that.
Leahy: I wonder why?
Carr: Draw your own conclusion, yeah.
Leahy: Yeah so, and this bogus DNA claim. She says she took a DNA test. By the way we don’t know that it was her DNA.
Carr: Right
Leahy: But so, a print out was made and given to a professor at Stanford that looks at it and says, based upon this data, we think that there’s a chance that maybe she had one ancestor who was comparable to our pool of DNA that we pretend is Native American but is really people from Peru, Mexico and Columbia. Not people from the United States.
Carr: If you’re thinking Peru think George Zimmerman. The guy who killed Trevon Martin down in Florida. His mother was a Peruvian. Did anyone ever say he was an Indian? And he was half Peruvian.
Leahy agreed that the Zimmerman comparison was a great example. He went on to analyze the DNA “data” percentages as proposed by Stanford which showed less than half of what white Americans have. Carr pointed out that Warren is, “coasting on the Affirmative Action gravy train” and that the results are unknown to be true or not as they were provided from herself. Leahy reponded by discussing that she claimed that her proof showed President Trump was wrong and her professionally produced Youtube video backfired.
Carr: Totally backfired. You know, first they got the percentages wrong and they had to issue two grovelling corrections throughout the the course of the day when they announced it. And then at like that evening the Cherokee Nation announced that this was the most insulting thing they’ve ever seen and it just totally backfired on her. So, yesterday, the NY Times did a story just saying, they treated it as some kind of tactical error. You know like…
Leahy: Exactly.
Carr: Like that time in Florida when you know when she should have been in New Hampshire or something like that. But this is the foundation of her entire career. This, her career is the fruit of the poison tree of lying about her ethnic background and the NY Times still doesn’t comprehend that. It’s really facinating. Last night Michael, I don’t know if you saw it, the Globe came out, the Boston Globe you know which has been promoting her all along and where she dumped this ridiculous story that proved, “proved she was an Indian”. They basically ran an editorial telling her not to run for President telling her she was too damaged.
Leahy: And you’re exactly right. The NY Times missed the main point. They thought this was a tactical problem becasue of her relationship with Native Americans. No, it was a tactical problem because she lied (Laughs) and benefited from it thirty years ago.
Carr: Yeah, you know everybody’s got skeletons in their closet you know I mean, Bernie Sanders, Cory Booker wrote those stupid things for the newspapers. You know, Kamala Harris had this perve working for her. But I mean, these are all mistakes you can overcome. I mean, if your entire career is based on this monstrous lie that adversely effected other people. You know, somebody lost those tenured positions at the Ivy League law schools because this woman was engaging in this incredibly cynical fraudelant ploy of claiming to be an Indian. And then backing it up with plagiarized French recipes, among many other things. I mean, there’s so much here of ridiclous nonsense that you’ve got into. Like about her wedding claiming…(Inaudible talk)
Leahy: Oh it’s all crazy…
In conclusion, Carr went on to describe how it’s all backfired and how she ran a terrible re-election campaign with only sixty percent of the vote even with all the advantages in Massachusetts and how her debate performances were disasterous. He noted her habit of lying on video and then denying actually saying it with an air of entitlement. Leahy reminded Carr about how the men recommended Warren political advice about admitting her falsifications and how it would all be ancient history. Carr responded by stating it was not possible for her to admit anything because it was the foundation of her career. He stressed that the only reason she got those gigs was because she started “checking the box.”
